Gratitude

Way back in a small town, there lived a blacksmith who ardently desired training his only son to be a lawyer so he will afterwards oversee  the needs and well-being of everyone in the family.

Years later,the son returned home having successfully completed his studies abroad and was given a grand reception by his father in company of some dignitaries,well-wishers and friends at the airport as he alighted from the aircraft.

He was right glad and gravely overwhelmed with joy for the warmth reception accorded him and did pleasantly acknowledge and greatly appreciated everyone's  presence except his father's,whom he bluntly snubbed despite the awesome reception and great sacrifice the father made towards his education.

Notwithstanding,his action,though was clearly unwholesome and apparently quite surprising,did not dismay the father.

Few days later,the father raised sufficient fund for him to set up a high-class chamber for his legal practice.

Although there were numerous cases in the community resulting from land disputes and other related matters that needed services of a legal practitioner but to the surprise of the young lawyer,nobody consulted him at all for any of these cases.He was completely not relevant to anyone in the community in relation to legal matters since his return,for several months.

But one day,towards the end of the fifth month.God through his unbound grace,sent a messenger to him from a distant place,to disclose the reason for his predicament.

He was made to know that his gross disrespect and repulsive attitude towards his father,is the reason he is not recognized by anyone in the community,and that nothing will ever go great for him except he earnestly and humbly as a virtue of necessity, apologize and reconcile with his father before the end of the sixth month,otherwise his situation will be worst.

Without delay the young lawyer after receiving this shocking revelation,realized his mistakes and did accordingly as he was instructed with sumptuous feast to mollify and propitiate his father and everything went great for him again even much more than he could ever dreamed.

His fame,riches and client-base grew rapidly vast across boundaries within a short frame of time.

In the end, his father's ardent wish and aspiration for him was fulfilled and they all lived together,always happily after.
