Brotherhood of the Cross and Star

Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is the Christ Universal School of Practical Christianity established in Nigeria in 1958 by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. Built on the teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is a religious movement that promotes practical Christianity and espouses the precepts of love, Peace, absolute faith in God, the unity of Gods creation and the Universal Fatherhood of God. It is the sum total of Gods creation and God Himself. "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away".

With its Headquarters at 34 Ambo Street, Calabar, Nigeria, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star could be likened to the biblical mustard seed. From its very humble beginning at an obscure location it has today grown to a massive global spiritual movement with worship centres straddling every continent of the world. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star members are practical Christians. They are taught to practise the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ and to keep His commandments. That is exactly one of the important missions of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu who is the Promised Comforter (John 14:16).

In conclusion, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is not a church, prayer house, healing home, secret society, cult or a political organisation. Indeed, it is the Kingdom of God where we practice and keep the commandments and injunction of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is written that when He (Leader Olumba Olumba Obu) comes as the Comforter and the spirit of truth He will abide with us (John 14:16,17), and as a Teacher He will teach us in full and bring all things to our remembrance whatsoever our Lord Jesus Christ has taught His disciples and those who believed in Him as the Christ (John 14:16).
